First Course 2007

The first one-week training course of the year successfully finished on February 9th.  Participants from five different countries observed a wide range of endoscopic operations and had the opportunity to work on the pelvi trainer with models and animal organs.

The skill exercises on the interactive virtual laparoscopic training simulator LTS3e were very popular.  Training was given on dissecting techniques and intra and extra corporal knotting techniques.  Our thanks go to the nurses on the ward and in the operating room, the ladies in the endoscopy office, Professor Mettler for advice and support and our patients.
