By car from Hamburg

At the end of the autobahn (A 215) drive straight ahead (Schützenwall). Just before the Square Exerzierplatz turn right into the Ziegelteich. At the end of the Ziegelteich (harbour area) turn left into the Kaistraße. Drive straight ahead, remaining on the road closest to the harbour, until you reach Schwanenweg on the left-hand side. The Universitätsklinikum (university clinic) is signposted here. Turn left into the Schwanenweg and look for a parking space as these are
difficult to find. One hundred metres further, on the left-hand side, parking is possible in the hospital grounds, but space is very limited and subject to charges. Once past the barrier, walk up the road (Michaelisstraße) to the Frauenklinik (Dept. of Ob/Gyn).

Arrival by train

Eight minutes by taxi to the Frauenklinik. Alternatively, from the central bus terminal (ZOB), which is situated directly opposite the railway station, take bus number 32, 33, 61 or 62 as far as Schloßgarten. Walk up the hill (Hegewischstraße) to the Frauenklinik.

From Hamburg Fuhlsbüttel airport

An Autokraft bus (Kielius) runs every hour from the airport to the Kiel central bus terminal. The journey takes approx. 1 1/2 hours. Eight minutes by taxi from ZOB to the Frauenklinik.

Kielius & Kiel Exx

A van will collect you from your home/hotel. The journey to Hamburg airport takes approx. 60 minutes and the service is available from midday Sunday until Friday evening. A one-way ticket costs € 27.90. For further information log in to Kielius.
